The company is also not providing or renewing homeowner solutions for all clients in an attempt to cut costs and minimize losses
I am a seasoned air conditioning professional who has worked with several companies in the cooling industry. I am currently employed at an HVAC company, but I am soon leaving the company. I hardly stay at one job for more than three years. The offer is to become a new contractor for a company that primarily deals with air conditioner install. Having been in the business a while, I have made connections from both the supplier and consumer side, so I really know my way around the industry. When I went for the interview, I was given a new HVAC to explain its part and demonstrated how a cooling and heating provider would make a sale to a new homeowner. The air conditioning business is becoming a cutthroat business, and companies need people who can convert sales faster and smarter. The company is currently trying to handle a high staff turnover and do damage control by employing a/c repairman on a need basis to cushion unexpected quitters. Most of them do have a good knowledge of the air conditioning system as a whole, but they understand the market well. The company is also not providing or renewing homeowner solutions for all clients in an attempt to cut costs and minimize losses. As for me, my main goal is to ensure that all clients get proper air quality with every purchase and reduce the ratio of sale to returns. Once my job is done, I can leave the rest of the furnace/heater repair jobs and air filter replacements to the technicians on duty.
