My sickness made me feel horrible

I totally knew I was getting sick with something when I woke up on Sunday in the morning hours and was feeling awful. Many people don’t look forward to Sunday mornings, however I genuinely adore my work. Commonly when I get up for work, I feel very excited and set for the week. In the morning on Sunday, I wanted to crawl back into my bed and turn off the alarm clock altogether… I took a shower and shaved. While I was picking my outfit out, I decided to check my temperature. I constantly keep a thermometer in the bath since my son visits every weekend and every Monday afternoon. I don’t want to be one of those dads that take their child to the emergency room if they are feeling pretty warm. I took my temperature and I had a fever of 102.6. I reached out to my boss and let him know that I wasn’t going to make it that day. He expected me to handle a ductless A/C installation job. I wasn’t able to concentrate on making any breakfast, so I knew it was going to be virtually impossible to concentrate on a ductless A/C installation task like that. I felt dreadful for bailing on my boss at the last minute, however I felt lousy. I would not have been much help at my task and I don’t even believe I would have had the stamina or capability to complete the ductless A/C installation task on my own. I spent quite a few days home on the couch, before I felt better. Thankfully, a vast majority of my symptoms were gone when I woke up Monday in the morning hours.
