I would not have been much help at work and I really don’t think I would have had the energy or capability to complete the ductless AC installation job on my own
I knew I was getting sick with something when I woke up on Monday morning and I didn’t feel well. Most people dread Monday mornings, but I actually love my job. When I get up for work, I usually feel excited and ready for the week. Monday morning, I wanted to crawl back into my bed and turn off the alarm clock. I took a shower and shaved. While I was picking out my clothes, I decided to check my temperature. I always keep a thermometer in the bath because my three year old visits every weekend and every Wednesday afternoon. I don’t want to be one of those dads that take their kid to the emergency room if they feel warm. I took my temperature and I had a fever of 102.4. I called my boss at work and I told the guy that I wasn’t going to make it. He expected me to complete a ductless AC installation job. I couldn’t even concentrate on making breakfast, so I knew it was going to be impossible to concentrate on a ductless AC installation job. I felt bad for bailing on my boss at the last minute, but I felt absolutely horrible. I would not have been much help at work and I really don’t think I would have had the energy or capability to complete the ductless AC installation job on my own. I spent three days at home on the couch, before I felt better. Thankfully, most of my symptoms were gone when I woke up Thursday morning.
