40 minutes till the heating contractor shop

I only have 40 minutes of battery life left on my laptop, and I need to write six more articles before it dies. I guess I will have to find a cafe with Wi-Fi to finish up. It’s been four hours since the power went out in my building, and my phone’s battery is starting to die. It’s not a huge deal because all I have planned for today is a workout followed by a jam session with my bandmate. We may do a short gig at this local club later, but my friend and I will have to go there to see if they are even open tonight due to some renovations they were doing this week. I will send him a message from the local contractor and explain that my power and Heating and Air Conditioning system has been out, so he will understand why I haven’t responded to his messages today. If their fireplace is not working yet, they’d better have access to some sort of heating, and I’m not sure if they do. It gets cold down there and I prefer to play in a toasty club, so my drumming hands often suffer. We’re going to play in front of this air conditioning company by the church to get some exercise and, who knows, maybe make a few bucks. But I will tell my bandmate that I don’t want to be a beggar playing a musical instrument like I see others doing; I just want to play, and if people want to leave us money, that’s fine.
a/c tune up
