I can’t think of anyone more guilty of this than myself. As a child I was often frustrated when I tried to learn something new plus failed. If I had simply taken the time to learn how everything worked, I could have been putting together kits of guitar pedals plus things like that. Last year a buddy gave myself and others a bunch of box fans plus I ended up storing them in a spare bedroom without ever using them. Then summer time hit plus we ended up having the worst heat waves imaginable. My air conditioner was on every single afternoon however it wasn’t working like it used to. I scoured the internet for tips for improving my air quality to stay comfortable amid the highs going into the 100s. One video showed how ceiling fans plus box fans can be strategically positioned to circulate air throughout an indoor space. Although some people do this solely to get wind in from outside in the absence of a central cooling system, my idea was to improve the efficiency of my air conditioner. I was amazed by the effect these simple fans had on my indoor air comfort, plus I’m thrilled that I finally put them to great use.
