Being a first time father wasn’t easy when my daughter was born.
Although I have had some experience now that our second child is already six, it feels like I’m constantly learning as I go along.
With children, there’s no telling what could happen from one minute to the next. First they’re playing peacefully in the other room and then all of sudden you hear screaming and crying because they tripped and hit their head on a coffee table or something similar. I thought that working from home would make life easier for me, but it’s hard when I’m facing constant interruptions from my two kids. Years ago I would have laughed at the thought of hiring a nanny while working from home, but now I’m seriously starting to consider it. It would be nice if the person could take my kids outside to have fun in the yard. It’s finally safe again for them to play out there because the insect exterminators removed the rampant bee hives from the yard. I called a residential bee removal service so they could send out an exterminator to remove the growing bee hives in my yard. The wasps and bees have overrun the trees and I seem to get stung whenever I’m in that location of my backyard. The same thing happens to my wife, kids, and pets, leading me to call an exterminator immediately. Thankfully the exterminator removed the bee and wasp nests and we can all enjoy our backyard once again. We’re lucky that none of us are allergic to bees or wasps because that would have made the situation even more dire.
