I do not care about wearing a mask on our face when I am out in public, but it’s a small price to pay for a safer world.
- The only people I suppose who have a true right to complain are employees who have to labor countless minutes while being masked.
I have seen the frustration and exhaustion in their eyes. Those masks make them sweat and restrict their breathing considerably! I assume bad for anyone who has to do serious manual labor with one of those masks on. I would be uncomfortable after just an minute or various of working like that. The ear loops can cause pain as well, especially after the mask is worn for minutes at a time. However, I have noticed one true luck of wearing a mask whenever I’m out of the house. I have dire dust sensitivity symptoms to seasonal temperature swings, and our mask protects me from all of the dust, dirt, pollen, and mold spores in our environment that go airborne. I noticed that our nose gets stuffed up the minute I take the mask off our face. When I’m at condo our indoor air is constantly being filtered by one of our 4 separate air cleaners. I even have UV-C bulbs in our air conditioning component and allergen rated filters inside the air handler. But when I’m out in the open air or in public spaces, I don’t have air purification like that. The best option I have is wearing an N-95 mask that operates with nearly as much filtration as a HEPA filter. It truly helps compared to going separate from a mask. I plan on continuing mask wearing for the foreseeable future.
