Now that I am laboring long hours in a hectic corporate job, I don’t have as much free time anymore. I can’t imagine trying to hold this job down while simultaneously being a caring father and a passionate hubby. At least give myself and others some of my time back for my hobbies and my interests! On the 1 hand I can listen to audio books, lectures, and podcasts while I’m commuting in my car, but I haven’t been hiking to any of the local nature preserves in months. I genuinely won’t get a chance to see a concert until sometime next year, along with attending hockey games or parties. But the worst section is the service outside that must be done or I get fined from the city homeowner’s association. They’re so strict that I got in trouble once for leaving my garage door open overnight by accident. The thing that angers them the most is tall grass and weeds. Since laboring more hours, I had no choice however to find a landscaping crew to do my yard every week, but I shouldn’t have been cheap. Now I’m dealing with the headache of a disfigured Heating & A/C condenser. It’s not the sort of damage that is covered by the manufacturer warranty so I have to pursue a damage claim with the landscaping company. Thankfully the representative at the landscaping company was helpful with the issue and told myself and others to send information regarding the damage directly to their office so they could rectify the situation. I’m hoping that they will simply spend my money to get my heating and cooling condenser fixed.
