Boaz was unsure what to expect after moving from his home to a new area.
He had grown up on an island where life was all about the sun and the beach.
Never once did he think he’d be moving to an area where it snowed for many months in a year. But, all that changed when he met Jenny when she was there on a family vacation. They hit it off and began dating. After some time, Boaz visited her and agreed to stay there with her. He got a good job opportunity which also helped in making the decision. The only issue he was facing was the freezing weather which he was not used to at all. The couple found a lovely apartment in a complex in the city and moved in. The apartment had an amazing heating system which helped Boaz stay warm when he didn’t have to be outside. But, after about a month, he began to experience some symptoms like dry skin, shortness of breath, red and watery eyes, and nose bleed. When the symptoms wouldn’t go away, they decided to go to the hospital to find out what was going on. After speaking with Boaz for some time and realizing he was new to the area, the doctor knew this was an effect of dry air. He recommended they install a humidifier in the house to add moisture back into the space. Constant use of a heating system was responsible for the dry air in their apartment. They went to an HVAC shop that same day and bought a dehumidifier that was the right size for their apartment. The difference was evident, and Boaz felt better after a few days.
