The customer I saw had other plans, so every one of us finished the meetings early. After signing the contract, I was on the next flight out and returned house a afternoon earlier. I found our cousin had a full-on celebration in our house, which was against our wishes. All of us have some strict rules in our area, and 1 of them is to typically inform the HOA of any parties taking place. Many families have little kids, and it’s polite to inform them when you have music and loud people around. It took all our convincing and apologies for the president of the HOA not to turn this into a big issue. Needless to say, I had our sister pack her bags and went house to stay with our parents for the remainder of her summer time break. In all the chaos of this matter, I forgot to call over an A/C expert to come and service our heat pump. I used the heat pump all summer time to cool the house, and when the temperatures began to fall, I switched it to heat the space. That’s when the issues began. My heat pump was refusing to switch modes as it normally did with each change of season. It seemed there was a serious issue, so I had to contact the A/C expert to come and take a look.
