I had to pay to have the ductwork removed though.
For as long as I was experiencing disappointing air quality in my home, I was feeling sick. A lot of the afternoons, I was feeling like a walking dead person. I felt like I couldn’t actually breathe and I never wanted to get out of bed or get off the couch just feeling sluggish. There were a few major troubles in my condo and that became apparent. A neighbor of mine was concerned and said I needed to get to a hospital and have my Heating as well as Air Conditioning plan looked at. I went the Heating as well as Air Conditioning route first because it was a huge problem of mine. The Heating as well as Air Conditioning professional ended up finding there was a carbon monoxide leak in my system, meaning the heat exchanger was cracked. That was news I didn’t want to hear, but it was worse. The ductwork plan was filled with mold and mildew and this was a huge reason for my breathing difficulties. I ended up going to the hospital, even though I did make arrangements to have a new Heating as well as Air Conditioning plan installed. Instead of going for a regular central Heating as well as Air Conditioning, I ended up going for a ductless multi break plan which would cover the heating and cooling needs for the entire household. Also, I could do this without having to use ductwork which was the biggest thing. I had to pay to have the ductwork removed though. I supposed I could have just had the ductwork cleaned, but it was outdated and I didn’t idea on using it any longer for any future ducted system. So far the ductless multi break has been working amazingly and my weekly bills are low. Also, my health has improved extremely. I truthfully could have died from the carbon monoxide leak, but luckyly, I always kept windows cooked open for some fresh air.
