So I went to the HVAC business today to see if the old HEPA filter man could calm me down about this whole sound system problem, and he did.
He told me about all of the major life experiences that brought him down in life and, in comparison, mine is a drop in the bucket.
He was showing a couple the new HVAC technology that just arrived in the store while I digested all that he told me. My paltry $750 that was taken by an immoral online company was nothing compared to the houses and jobs he lost over his lifetime. That HEPA filter man really knows how to put things in perspective and show me that most things are much smaller than they appear if you step back a bit and look at it from a distance. He told me to go home and make some tea and just sit and breathe without thinking. I did that and then I worked on my air conditioning system, cleaning the ductwork and filters, and after I finished I felt much better about everything. A lot of things in life that seem so bad are really not much at all once they pass and we look back on them. A lot of them are actually learning lessons, which help us in the long run. I think I may go back to the HVAC business later and thank the old man and maybe even buy a HEPA filter from him as a way of saying thank you. I hope your day is better than mine!
