I fell the other day when I was cleaning the air ducts in our house, but all my wife would do was laugh at me.
When I first fell off the ladder as I was trying to clean the air duct with my shop vacuum, I thought for sure that my wife would feel sorry for me.
I also really thought that she was going to come and check on me and baby me and try to make me feel better because when I fell I really hurt my leg. However, my wife just ended up laughing at me. She said that she warned me not to try and clean up work myself. This was also true, of course, but I tried to do it anyway. My wife wanted me to call a professional HVAC company that cleaned the ductwork, but I really wanted to save money on it. Even though I also know that she was right about it, it still would have been nice if she would have felt sorry for me when I fell and hurt my leg! Sometimes I think that that woman is just mean. I guess she just really knows what she’s talking about when it comes to things pertaining to their HVAC system in our house. Looking back on it all now, I know that she was right about the fact that I should have called a professional HVAC company to come in and do the job. I really have no clue what I’m doing when it comes to doing things like cleaning duct work. Apparently I don’t know how to climb ladders either!
