We’ve only been to visit our uncle in the town a few times.
As country boys, our whole life revolves around our farm.
We are a fourth generation dairy farmer in the midwest, and not a fan of the vast cities. Still, there are times when we want a break from the monthly grind, and that’s when we go to visit our uncle Joel! He chose to go away from school, and never looked back. Our dad says country life is not for him, and it was good he found a life for himself. They’re still close, however only get to see each other once or twice a year. The previous summer, our aunt called with news that uncle Joel had been in an accident, and was in the hospital. By the time we left the farm, he was at home recuperating so we all went straight there. The chalet was just as impressive as ever, however this time the indoor air pollen levels were much different. Our aunt happened to mention that they hired a heating & A/C business to take care of the upgrade. They got a current heating & A/C system in place to upgrade an old one they had. The former component had been there for close to 12 years, and it was time for a upgradement. After visiting with our uncle, we left him and our dad to talk as we went to find our aunt in the kitchen. We passed the hallway where there was a new thermostat in place. Our aunt happened to be coming in our direction and informed us that it was a smart thermostat. She showed us how to use it, and we knew we had to have one back home.
