My hubby Jeff is from the tiniest town that you can imagine, the town is located in the Southern part of the country and there are only 618 residents residing in it! When he grew up, there were around 2,000, however over the years, several of the younger people left the town, and unfortunately, towns like those are respectfully farming towns with not a lot of possibilities for labor outside of the agriculture industry. Jeff pursued a job in Finance, so there was no way he could’ve found a fine task in his town unless he opened his own business, but eventually, he would like to have a corporation of his own, however I easily doubt it will be in the town that he grew up in, then anyway, a few weeks ago, my friend and I visited his 100-year-old Grandmother who has lived in the same household since she was in her mid-20s, then over the years, Jeff and his family did a few renovations, however the household was absolutely outdated which was really visible by the exterior. To be honest, most of the houses in the town were outdated as well, and several of them had no central air conditioner or heating! Some had fireplaces, window air conditioners, and I saw a few that had ductless mini split units. Jeff’s Grandmother’s household has a fireplace, and she also has a ductless mini split HVAC unit. There were about 6 air handlers linked to the unit, so it made the entire household comfortable! It’s a unusual world out there in the country. The people don’t have the luxuries that my friend and I have in the town like central air conditioner and heating, however you know what they are so cheerful with the little that they have.
