There are certain chores and tasks that are high on the list of priorities.
For instance, doing laundry, cooking, and cleaning are some of the most important things that I need to do.
More tasks include taking out the garbage as well as pulling weeds from the garden. These are tasks and chores that I complete on a weekly basis, so I don’t normally forget to do them. However, there are some tasks that are so low on the list that oftentimes, they are completely forgotten. An example of this is changing my HVAC air filter. It is recommended to change the filter every 90 days, but it has been almost 6 months and I am yet to change the HVAC air filter. The air filter is not something I see every day, in fact, the only time I see it is when I go to replace it. It’s hidden behind a cover on the HVAC unit, which means it’s never visible. And every time I go to the store, it is the last thing that is on my radar, so I keep forgetting to pick up a new air filter. Well, today, I finally said enough is enough because having a dirty air filter can cause issues with the HVAC. So, I placed an order online for a pack of 3 filters that will arrive in about 2 days. Thankfully, when I checked the air filter, it wasn’t that dirty, but it still needs to be changed. Changing the HVAC air filter as recommended will guarantee that the HVAC unit is functioning as efficiently as possible.
