Their cooling expert does an excellent job explaining to guests about the more environmentally friendly cooling equipment and how to ensure that they reduce energy consumption with whatever equipment they have
I have always wondered what makes hotels pick the name eco beyond marketing. I expected many trees and things that defy modernism, but a weekend away in one schooled me more than reading about them would ever have. On the first day at the hotel, we were booked for a tour of the place to see how they have embraced eco-consciousness in their business model. They had solar, water recycling, a greenhouse, and a backyard garden, and all their wine bottles were recycled into water glasses and décor pieces. But it’s the cooling technology that blew me away. They had an electric heat pump, but, on most days, it used energy from their solar system, so they achieved maximum energy saving. The HVAC installation provided continuous climate control and helped with indoor comfort, so I cannot fault it. Because the facility is located far from the town where there is an HVAC business, they had their cooling technician to keep up with maintenance. However, he also served as the local service provider on days he was not needed. Being in a small town means that their cooling specialist has brought the facility’s community closer, which I learned as part of their business model to fit into society and offer education on eco-consciousness. Their cooling expert does an excellent job explaining to guests about the more environmentally friendly cooling equipment and how to ensure that they reduce energy consumption with whatever equipment they have. That experience made me more curious about eco-services and products. I am engaging the HVAC contractor from the local cooling corporation on how to transition to more sustainable and quality AC service for my home.
