I had to learn the strenuous way to regularly make Heating, Ventilation, & A/C appointments early.
In my area, the temperatures can be rather extreme.
Because of that, having annual check ups with the heating & cooling suppliers is pretty important, as you can imagine. I regularly get annual Heating, Ventilation, & A/C tune ups, but periodically I am a little late to make the air conditioning system appointments. I regularly try to make appointments in the Spring & the fall, before the temperatures become too extreme. But periodically, when life is too busy, I end up not making those appointments until Summer & winter. By then, the heating & air conditioning system companies are booked with several appointments as several people rush to have their Heating, Ventilation, & A/C devices repaired or took care of as the hot or cold season hits. I become one of those several people when I wait too long, then one time, I didn’t end up making an appointment until the middle of Summer & because of that, I had to wait 3 weeks, yes 3 weeks, almost an entire month, before I could genuinely get my air conditioning system unit repaired. I will never do that again, those weeks were some of the most irritated I have ever experienced, it is amazing how temperatures can genuinely affect your indoor comfort & mood. Now I have my calendar marked for those Heating, Ventilation, & A/C appointments, & my cellphone has a reminder as well. I will never have that happen again, I might get a portable air conditioning system & a back up.
