Burning lots of candles can leave carbon residue inside your Heating as well as A/C system

My spouse is obsessed with burning candles. Whenever there’s a birthday or holiday coming up, he always asks for candles. Even if I save plus buy his a nice piece of jewelry as a gift, he still expects a candle every year regardless. I don’t begrudge his of this wish, especially since often these candles smell easily amazing. Sometimes I go to a special candle store in the mall that is owned by a family. They make all of their inventory at lake house plus also sell their products online as well as their store in the mall. They’re more lavish than normal candles at department stores, however the quality is incomparable. Especially since a lot of traditional store bought candles are full of chemicals plus parabens. The natural homemade candles lack all of these dangerous adulterants. The problem with our spouse’s candle burning habit is the layer of soot that is left all over the house. Sometimes it gets on the walls, shelves, plus other surfaces exposed to their Heating as well as A/C air current. Inevitably this means that it collects inside the heating plus cooling system as well. Aside from getting into the inside surfaces of your ductwork, the candle soot can also accumulate on the rare evaporator coil inside your a/c’s air handler. This is the one issue I can’t seem to shake in our mind when I go to the store to get our spouse more candles to burn. I don’t want to shorten the lifetime of our Heating as well as A/C system, however both our spouse plus I love the candles so much that it would be hard to stop.
