Here was my conundrum – I needed a location to safely smoke cannabis, however it couldn’t be in the house.
It had to be close to the house, so I could pay attention to the kids, however it couldn’t be too close to the house, because I didn’t want to expose them to secondhand smoke.
Sometimes it’s tough work trying to remain active as a pothead and also be a responsible stay-at-property parent. I guess that smoking pot easily makes me a better and more patient parent. I found a neat little compromise to my situation with the purchase of a prefab treehouse, and a portable AC component to go inside it. Because a team of professionals installed the treeapartment it took only a few hours. Me trying to get the portable cooling system up inside it took considerably longer. For being so small and compact, these cooling systems are remarkably heavy! Once I got it up there I had to climb back down to run a power cable from the house, however portable cooling units require an insane amount of energy, something I never knew before. Finally everything was set up, I had a clear view of the apartment and the kids, and I could sit next to the cooling system and smoke a joint. The AC component was also an air cleaner, which eliminated most of the smoke and funky cannabis smell from the treehouse. This is the perfect little air conditioned escape room for when I get tied up out, and it will stay that way until the kids get outdated enough to climb up here.
