Buying an air conditioner for my house

If you are thinking about buying an air conditioner for your home, there are a few important things to think about first. You will need to know the size of the room or space that needs to be cooled. You will also need to make sure that you have plenty of power or a nearby outlet to run the unit. It’s also important to know what type of air conditioner will work best. There are several different types of air conditioners, like window units, portable units, and ductless mini split units. Each one of these air conditioners can be used in small spaces and each one offers a multitude of functions. If you know what you need and what is important for your home, then it will be much easier to complete your purchase. When I decided to buy an air conditioner for my home, I researched all three types to make sure I purchased the right thing. I knew the purchase would be expensive, and I didn’t want to get something that wouldn’t work well.

Window air conditioners are a popular and affordable option, and they are very easy to install. Many window air conditioners can not only cool but also heat. The installation process is easy as long as you have a window and some hand tools. Portable air conditioners offer versatility that window air conditioners cannot. Portable air conditioners can be moved from one place to another. They normally include a window venting kit. A portable air conditioner is a great machine, but they can be heavy and much less efficient than a window unit. Many models also have a reservoir that will need to be emptied daily. Ductless mini split air conditioners are another choice for cooling your home. They offer sleek and compact design, with two separate parts. There is an air handler indoors and a separate condenser that is placed outdoors. The ductless mini-split can be placed virtually anywhere, and there are much less concerns with this split unit. Ductless mini split air conditioners uses far less energy than other traditional units. It can improve your home’s indoor air quality and even be controlled using a smart thermostat. I considered all three of these cooling options, before finally deciding to purchase a ductless mini-split system for my house.

I found three suitable 12000 BTU mini split air conditioners at Home Depot. The first ductless mini split air conditioner was the Climateright 12000 BTU option. It was listed at $964 online. It features two way air circulation. The Climate right ductless air conditioner unit has a washable air filter. There are no accessories or extra components included except a remote control. The mini split air conditioner features Auto cooling, automatic shut-off, a programmable sleep timer and wireless remote control. The Climateright 12000 BTU mini-split air conditioner had a 3 year limited warranty and 15 Seer rating. Many of the product and customer reviews were generally positive. Most folks said it was easy to install and use.

I also considered a less expensive Hessaire 12000 BTU ductless mini split air conditioner. This mini split ductless unit has four way air circulation options and four different fan speeds. It has a sleep setting, timer, and heater. It also includes a remote control. The Hessaire 12000 BTU 1 ton ductless mini split air conditioner was listed for $200 less than the climate right ductless air conditioner. Unfortunately, the Hessaire 12000 BTU 1 ton ductless mini split air conditioner did not come with the wall mounting bracket, which was another $50. The Hessaire 12000 BTU 1 ton mini split air conditioner is energy efficient, quiet to operate, and a superior product. The air conditioner even includes the environmentally friendly r-410a refrigerant.

I also considered a much more expensive Bosch climate 5000 energy star ductless mini split air conditioner. Priced over $1,000, the price tag was a significant deterrent. It had the smallest air handler of all three units. It also had the lightest air handler in weight. The air filter for this machine is washable as well. One thing that I really liked was the included remote control, heating package, support brackets, and self-help tools. The items was ready for installation right out of the box. The Bosch climate 5000 energy star ductless mini split air conditioner comes with a five-year warranty and a seasonal Energy Efficiency ratio of 20.7. Even though the Bosch climate 5000 ductless mini split air conditioner was a few hundred dollars more than the other two selections, I decided this was the best system for my home.

I ordered the climate 5000 energy star ductless mini split air conditioner and heat pump online and had the items delivered to my home. I even qualified to get a credit card from HomeDepot, so I saved a ton of money. Instead of putting out all that cash, I can make simple monthly payments until the item is paid off. I even have interest free payments if I can pay off the air conditioner within 12 months. I got free shipping with the expensive purchase. I was hoping for quick shipping, but I didn’t get the item until 10 days later. I opened the box and found three parts inside, the air handler, outdoor condenser, and all of the pipes to set things up. The entire main unit is connected using refrigerant, condensed, and electrical lines. I thought it would be easy to install the ductless mini split air conditioner, but I found it to be a very difficult process. After spending most of the day trying to install the Bosch climate 5000 ductless air conditioner, I finally gave up and decided to call a professional for help. Luckily, I had everything necessary to complete the project. I didn’t have to spend a fortune to have the new machine installed. Now that my ductless mini split air conditioner is up and running, I feel even happier with my choice. I haven’t had the opportunity to use the heat pump yet, but I’m glad to know I have heat in an emergency.
