We have been dating for a few weeks now and I finally saw our boyfriend’s house.
The first thing I noticed when I walked through the door was how much his apartment aromaed like a pet kennel.
I shouldn’t have been surprised. After all, he has 4 pets. It wasn’t that the pets were going to the washroom in the apartment either. It was just a pet aroma. We are nowhere near the point in our relationship where we are ready to move in together however all I could believe of was that if I moved in with our pet then there would be 5 pets in this apartment and it would aroma even worse. I don’t think how to talk about it with our boyfriend either. I mean, he could get some media air cleaners, like HEPA media air cleaners, or something like that. He could also get a strong air filter for her Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system. I have even seen charcoal air filters that go in front of the correct air filter and help with aromas. The concern is that I don’t believe our boyfriend is aware that his apartment aromas like pet. If I moved in I could start buying media air cleaners and air filters myself. However, i wouldn’t want to move in until I knew that this overpowering pet aroma could be handled. In fact, I don’t even want to stay in the apartment unquestionably long with such a strong aroma going on. It is pretty bad. So I feel I will have to find a way to address it or something, maybe I could just start gifting him media air cleaners and hope he uses them. I don’t know. Is that rude?
