The two of us have been dating for a few weeks now and I finally saw our boyfriend’s house. The first thing I noticed when I walked through the door was how much his home aromaed like a pet kennel. I shouldn’t have been surprised. After all, he has 4 pets. It wasn’t that the pets were going to the bathroom in the home either. It was just a pet aroma. The two of us are nowhere near the point in our relationship where all of us are ready to transport in together however all I could know of was that if I moved in with our pet then there would be 5 pets in this home and it would aroma even worse. I don’t guess how to talk about it with our boyfriend either. I mean, he could get some whole-house air purifiers, like HEPA whole-house air purifiers, or something like that. He could also get a strong air filter for his Heating and Air Conditioning system. I have even seen charcoal air filters that go in front of the familiar air filter and help with aromas. The problem is that I don’t know our boyfriend is aware that his home aromas like pet. If I moved in I could start buying whole-house air purifiers and air filters myself. However, i wouldn’t want to transport in until I knew that this overpowering pet aroma could be handled. In fact, I don’t even want to stay in the home truly long with such a strong aroma going on. It is pretty bad. So I guess I will have to find a way to address it or something, however maybe I could just start gifting him whole-house air purifiers and hope he uses them. I don’t know. Is that rude?
