Cleaning out ductwork is important when you buy a used property

I don’t know if jumping into the house flipping game was such a good idea, but I’m at a point where I’m finally turning a profit.

Getting here was a massive uphill battle for two years straight. The only reason I didn’t fall apart on the first attempt was the gracious help of my brother, whom I paid back in full once I had the money to cover his wages during that time. He tried to refuse the money but I went behind his back and gave it to his wife instead! At least she was able to use the money at the grocery store and surprised him with the news after the fact so he couldn’t give the money back to me. That’s the kind of person my brother is, he’s always doing the right thing and out there to help people who desperately need it. He also showed me a lot of tips regarding home renovation, including advice on the best inspectors and contractors in our town. Without my brother, I would have had no idea that it was a smart idea to clean out ductwork in old properties that have been sitting for extended periods of time. Old ductwork is a haven for dust and dirt buildup and fungal spores can grow inside this grime. If you want to start with a clean slate after getting a pre-owned property, it’s smart to call the HVAC company to have the ductwork professionally cleaned. The investment will lead to cleaner indoor air and fewer risks of severe allergies. This is particularly important if you plan on putting a new air conditioner inside the home.
