Instead of paying an exorbitant amount of money for a newly designed metal ventilation system, the HVAC contractor recommended getting plastic flex-duct. It looks like giant tubing with foil insulation wrapping the surface, plus it can be angled in whatever way the HVAC professional sees fit.
