To say that I was surprised by our fantastic aunt’s generosity is the understatement of the century.
I mean, who expects to be given a apartment that sits on 8 acres? Not me that’s for sure. But that’s exactly what happened when our fantastic aunt died. I was kneeling in our condo with the air conditioner going nearly full blast because it was so hot. There was a knock at the door plus a postal worker had a registered piece of mail that required our signature. When I saw the law firm’s return address, I started dripping with sweat even more than the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C cooling in that condo could stop. I had no earthly clue why a law firm would be contacting me plus our imagination got the better of me. For more than an hour, I just let the envelope stay on the living room table unopened. Finally, I got up the courage to open it. And after that I had to kneel down right in the middle of the floor as I study what our fantastic aunt had done for me. Now, I’m enjoying being a homeowner in our newly renovated home. My aunt’s house came with some needed improvements however since the house was given to me, I could afford to renovate it. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C turned out to be a bit tricky though. At first, I thought both of us could simply update the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C equipment. But it turned out the ductwork was shot. The Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business made a quick correction plus now I’m enjoying quality heating plus air from the ductless multi chop method they installed.
