I really did want to have this turn out positive for all parties that were involved, however it ended up taking nearly six months for my nephews HVAC company to actually replace what was needed in my air conditioning unit.
When my sister called me and told me that my nephew was planning to start his very own HVAC company I was extremely surprised. My nephew has always been a smart kid however he never had anything that he stuck to. More often than not he would move onto something else whenever he got bored. Well, when we started having problems with our air conditioning unit my wife thought that it would be a good idea to hire my nephews HVAC company to support him and give him some momentum moving forward. To keep a long story short, that was a terrible mistake. I really did want to have this turn out positive for all parties that were involved, however it ended up taking nearly six months for my nephews HVAC company to actually replace what was needed in my air conditioning unit. My nephew came out three or four times after ordering the wrong parts, then scheduled four additional meetings with me that were all revolving around seeing if I had any friends at work that I could refer him to for their HVAC needs. When they finally came around and replaced the parts that were needed I told my nephew that I would be paying him what I owed him but I would not be referring him to anyone else due to the lack of action and poor quality of work. I love the kid to death, but this entire ordeal was just unacceptable, family or not.
