I am so forgetful periodically. And when I forget important things it could become a real hassle. Things like remembering to turn down my thermostat in the Winter late at night! I have portable space oil oil furnaces in my entryway to keep me hot at night to save money on electric use. And a single time I forgot to turn off the thermostat to the central heating, let me tell you this nearly killed me & provided me a heat stroke! I had the heat pumping from the portable space oil oil furnaces in my entryway plus the central heating on full blast. I woke up feeling so dizzy & sweaty! I had to instantly run to the window & open it all the way to let the cold chilly air come in the home from outside, then run to the thermostat to turn it off. Then I had to unplug my space oil oil furnaces & just run out to the front of the home to cool off. I must have drank a near gallon of water to cure the dehydration I was feeling within less than a half an minute. This is what being forgetful can cause! It’s not like forgetting your keys & being locked out of your car or home. You can get a locksmith for a few bucks to fix that forgetfulness. But when it comes to the thermostat controlling the central heating in your home, this could be deadly! As it just was for me. I can tell you a single thing, that I never ever again made this mistake. Always left myself a note on my bedside table to turn off the thermostat.
