My friends are all super worried about this Covid virus, don’t get myself and others wrong, I assume every one of us should take precautions but I don’t assume every one of us should stress so much about it, however after all, it is just going to have to run its course, but i wasn’t surprised when our book club canceled our in person meetings but, but the two of us started meeting over a video platform instead.
It is just not the same.
It is not that I mind standing in our own beach new home with our heating system on, a sizzling cup of coffee, and with our dog on our lap. It is just that I miss the tploy social interactions, however, I missed all of that a little less when our neighbor Heather asked myself and others to come pick up a book from her house… She didn’t want to leave the new home so I made the drive to hers. The first thing I noticed when I entered her new home was how sizzling and humid it was inside. It felt like she had the heating system up to 85 degrees. She also had humidifiers on and a few media air cleaners too. She explained that the Covid virus doesn’t like heat and humidity then she handed myself and others the book and sent myself and others on our way. I had hoped to hang out a bit however not after feeling the heat and humidity in that house… No thank you. I would rather go beach new home to our comfortable house. Now I am ecstatic every one of us aren’t having in person book club meetings. I can’t imagine trying to talk about books and authors when I was uncomfortably sizzling and moist.
