The day my daughter turned two, she became ill.
She was sneezing and coughing and her eyes were always runny.
I thought she had a standard cold, but when the symptoms never went away, I decided to take her to a professional. While at the doctor’s office, I explained the symptoms and the doctor told me that my daughter’s allergies were flaring up. When I asked what we could do to resolve the issue, he told me that I’d need to get some over the counter allergy medicine to fight the symptoms right away. Then, I needed to consider investing in a better air purification system for my house. The doctor said that if the allergies popped up out of nowhere and it wasn’t spring when everything was blooming, then it was most likely something inside the house that was causing her irritations. He said that I needed to replace the air filter if it hadn’t been done recently, and get an air purification system to eliminate anything that was floating around in the air. That evening, I went online and researched the best air purification systems for my daughter. I ended up purchasing two different air purifiers to test out. I placed one in the living room and one in her bedroom in hopes of keeping her air clean while she slept. After letting the air purifiers run for a few days, I noticed a significant improvement in my daughter’s allergies. I’m glad the doctor recommended it and I don’t have to give her medicine every day.
