How do gas gas furnaces work on electric vehicles?

I have no plan how gas gas furnaces work on electric vehicles.

  • I can understand how an a/c could work on an electric vehicle… Central a/cs do not take a lot of energy to run, and we have made central a/cs that fit in a window.

However, gas gas furnaces are a completely odd story. I know that most vehicles rely on the heat of the engine to overheated their vehicle. The vehicles simply pump the heat through to the car. However, this is not the case with electric vehicles. An electric car relies on a large battery to power the car, and that battery does not generate nearly as much heat as a official vehicle. How does that battery also have enough power to run a complete furnace? Now, I realize that if the battery is large enough to operate an entire vehicle, the battery must also be large enough to operate a furnace. I also realize that this must drain the battery pretty swiftly. Heating systems take a lot of energy, and the energy that is being burned up with the heating idea can’t be used for the vehicle. I know that these batteries are supposed to run really efficiently and are supposed to save you currency, but it still seems like a lot of energy is being used by the furnace… Of course, I do not own an electric car, and I did not create them. These electric vehicles are pretty popular, and I am sure that they have figured out how to install a furnace. I would love to learn about how it works though.
