My grandparents raised my sister and me after our parents passed away when I was five.

We were home with the nanny that evening, waiting for them, when our grandparents showed up at our door to pick us up. My baby sister was only 2, and we were quite confused about what was happening for some time. But, eventually, we understood and lived with our grandparents until we both went to college. They were the best and made many sacrifices to raise two little kids when they had already retired. We went to college, graduated, and both had amazing lives. Last summer, I called my grandpa because I needed help house hunting. He had been in the real estate industry all his life, and he helped find the most amazing house. It was in the best location and had been recently renovated. The only drawback was that it didn’t have a central cooling and heating system. Not only that, there was no ductwork in the house to install such a central AC system. We had to consult with an AC business nearby to find out how to fit an HVAC system in the house. The best solution was to purchase a mini-split ductless AC unit and set up HVAC zoning. This was also the cheapest option because installing new ductwork would cost a small fortune. My grandpa and I had never come across HVAC zoning, but it sounded like such a wonderful solution, so I chose to work with that in my new house.
