My family & I just moved up north.
It has been quite an adjustment.
I am not sure how much I will like living up here, however there is one thing that I like & that is not having to use an air conditioner. I literally have no need for an air conditioner. It is the middle of July, & it is seventy-five degrees outside… That is unheard of where I am from. It was seventy-five degrees in April, & it just got warmer & warmer as the summer time progressed. I am really delighted not to have to use air conditioner. It saves quite a bit of currency on our electric bill. I do have to use my boiler way more though. It will definitely even itself out; We will see I guess. It is just nice not to have to worry about dripping with sweat to death when I walk outside. I don’t have to go from ninety-five degree weather outside to seventy degrees inside. I always wondered if that was not good for my health. I did get sick quite often, so I am hoping that not having such extreme temperature differences will help me to stay well… One of my neighbors gave me an air conditioner, & I legitimately refused it. I told them that I was comfortable in my house, & I saw no need for an air conditioner. He looked at me like I was crazy. I thought that maybe I was for a second. To my neighbors, seventy-five degrees was quite warm. They used air conditioners at that temperature, however to me, seventy-five degrees is quite comfortable.
