I reached out for repair on my Heating in addition to A/C appliance last week.
I pretty much needed the oil furnace maintained plus a modern control unit installed. The man at the Heating in addition to A/C company gave me a time plus told me I had a window of 3 hours for the Heating in addition to A/C worker to arrive at my place. I asked exactly how many hours I needed to wait before I could leave the dwelling? I was told that if I left before the Heating in addition to A/C worker arrived, I would need to spend money for his time plus reschedule another appointment. I thought this was insane. I worked at a hospital plus I didn’t have the time to sit around waiting for a Heating in addition to A/C appliance worker. I asked what he meant by a 3-hour window, but was told they could be there up to 3 hours later than the time they quoted. They told me 11AM, plus I had to be at work by 3 PM. Three hours waiting for a Heating in addition to A/C worker would put me stuck in the dwelling until 2 PM, possibly just waiting. Depending on how long it took to handle the service, I would not be leaving the dwelling until almost 3 PM, plus I was an hour away from the hospital. I told this guy that the timing would not work. The man basically said my only other alternative was to wait another week, plus he could get me an appointment for around 7:30 AM. That was his earliest appointment plus the window would not be necessary. I took the 7:30 appointment with a totally different Heating in addition to A/C expert. I only hoped I didn’t fall asleep while he was talking to me. I didn’t get back to my dwelling until almost 4:30 AM.
