I was smart and ambitious, but I wanted to be successful and do well in life.
I’m the genre of person who tries to focus on the future and what’s ahead. I love to make plans and execute those plans with precision. I don’t love to just walk through life not knowing what I want to do. That kind of life is for losers. If you want to be successful, you have to honestly know where you want to go in life, however for me, I was motivated early on to learn about heating and cooling technology. I knew that I had to learn how to work on these amazing HVAC machines if I ever wanted to own my own successful HVAC business. It sincerely wasn’t straight-forward to learn everything that I know these days, however all the time I invested was worth it, however my buddies regularly thought I took it too seriously, reading about HVAC related things. Everybody else just wanted to play baseball or do some other activity, while I wanted to read and learn as much as possible. They called me a nerd, but I was a strange kind of nerd. I was smart and ambitious, but I wanted to be successful and do well in life. I absolutely ended up getting my GED early to get out of college so I could start HVAC classes. I l received more than ever in college and I was able to get my HVAC certification early on. I did severely well as an HVAC specialist and I eventually did succeed in starting my own HVAC supplier. It has been challenging, but I wouldn’t trade my job for anything.
