It’s frustrating living in a hot plus humid weather conditions.
I desperately miss growing up in the northern midwest.
My family lived in an seasoned farmhouse on a 200 acre ploy of land. Our yard was large plus the woods in the back was full of walking trails. All of us were even lucky enough to live on a sizable pond that is almost the size of a lake. Summers were spent at the pond swimming for hours, consistently reapplying sunscreen to prevent painful burns. All of us had large horse flies that would swarm you whenever you got out of the water, however the two of us dealt with the inconvenience anyway. It was difficult for me when my parents divorced. All of us had to transport from that apartment plus transfer our lives down south where my Grandmother was living at the time. The transition wasn’t simple because the heat plus the humidity were foreboding. Street hockey was a lot more bad in the intense southern sun. Whenever you walk outside, it’s care about getting hit with a moderate blanket because of the moisture in the air. I have to tell my Heating, Ventilation and A/C serviceman to keep inspecting my evaporator coil for mold growth. The humid air can lead to microbial growth in 1’s Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment. After installing UV lights inside the air handler, my serviceman hasn’t found mold once. He put 1 light on each side of the evaporator coil plus the constant ultraviolet light kills any bacteria, viruses, or fungal spores that collect from your indoor air. A clean air conditioner creates clean air, it’s that simple. I have to make sure I replace the bulbs once a year, otherwise they lose their effectiveness.
