I was going over my bills last week, and I saw some discrepancies in my Heating, Ventilation, and A/C account.
- I had some major work done on the oil furnace Last year so I could get it ready for winter.
I remembered the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C worker going over the bill and explaining all the charges, however this was the first time I entirely looked at it. They weren’t major discrepancies, however I wanted to address it to the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company. When I finally got through to their billing department, I talked to them about the oil furnace and what I was finding. She took a minute to pull my account and went down through all the charges, and mine were the same as hers, however I told her that when you bottom lined it, the charges didn’t add up. I didn’t love it when there were any discrepancies on the bottom line total of any bill. It was so unregular to see it with the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company that I had to let them assume I would be sending the amount it should have added up to and not what they had on the bill. She told myself and others she would send myself and others a new bill, however I said no. It wasn’t necessary for the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company to send another bill. I would never cheat them on what I owed, any more than they would cheat me. They had a balance that was $100 less than what the numbers added up to. She couldn’t guess I was being so honest. I told her they did the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C work, and eventually they would have caught up with the mistake. I just saved them an extra piece of paper and a stamp.
