I’ve had a pretty significant toothache for the last week.
I have been putting off going to the dentist every single day, because I get nervous and anxious when I go to the dentist.
Sometimes I like to smoke a little pot before I go, but I always worry that the doctor will be able to smell marijuana on my breath. Marijuana is not legal in this state, but I buy it from a friend. I finally decided to go to the dentist on Monday when I had my day off work. Usually I work on Mondays at the local HVAC repair center, but I worked the weekend so I had Monday off. When I went to the dentist on Monday, I had to wait in the office for at least 40 minutes before I went to the back office. Once I was in the chair, the dental hygienist took some X-rays and fitted me with the special contraption that keeps my mouth open for the dentist. After I was finished with the dental hygienist, the dentist came in to talk with me about my crown. I had a loose part under the crown and the dentist really had to fix that problem. She told me that it was not going to be covered under my insurance. I asked her if she could run my wife’s insurance too. I have insurance from the HVAC repair center, but my wife also has insurance through her job. Thankfully all of the fees were covered once both insurances were put through the system.
