Improving indoor air quality with a brand new air filter

I’m really thankful I ended up taking that flight plus sitting next to the guy who taught myself and others all about indoor air quality. Normally, I definitely hate flying plus I hate flying for company the most. There is nothing particularly charming about being stuffed inside a metal tube that doesn’t have the sort of air conditioning I need. I don’t want to get into the whole being off the planet area of our airplane concerns. But flying again after not having to get on an airplane for so long due to the pandemic was not something I was looking forward to. So I was a bit glum when I got on the flight to see that it was packed. And of course, there wasn’t enough air conditioning plus wearing a mask made myself and others even more warm. However, sometimes things happen for a reason. I was meant to be on that flight in order to learn about how to improve our indoor air quality at home. The guy next to myself and others must have sensed our discomfort about being on a plane plus wearing a mask. She simply assured myself and others that this was a fantastic precaution. And he had run tests to be sure that these planes had real HEPA filters. I was not aware of the HEPA filter although I’d heard the name. She then explained that a HEPA filter is capable of removing more than 99 percent of all airborne contaminants. The HEPA filter was even helpful in mitigating viruses as well. I was so incredibly impressed that I decided to replace the air filter in our condo when I got back from our trip. After installing a HEPA filter, the indoor air of our condo was remarkably improved.
