In bold black and gold lettering, the HVAC business announced their new HVAC membership club.
- I wasn’t originally interested, but I was curious.
So I clicked on the link to see where it would take me. Basically, their HVAC membership club is very similar to a HVAC service plan that other heating and cooling companies offer. All you have to do is sign up, pay a small monthly fee and you will get some benefits from the A/C corporation. One of the main benefits that interested me was that you get reward points every time you get some kind of service from the A/C corporation. These reward points then add up, and you can use them to get a discount on future A/C repairs or even HVAC installations. Ofcourse, the more points you have, the bigger the discount. Then at the very bottom, I read that if you still have receipts from this A/C dealer, you could turn them in for points right now! That was it, I decided I had to join their HVAC membership club. I signed up for their membership, paid the small fee, and then dug through my drawer where I kept all of my receipts. In total, I found about 7. Some of them were pretty old, from years ago, so I wasn’t sure if the HVAC dealer would count those, but to my surprise they did! I already had several thousand points from all of those A/C tune ups alone! And I was eligible to get a smart thermostat for free, or I could continue to build my points.
