Learning about sustainable cooling

Our company is trying to do more in promoting sustainability, which means all employees must be encouraged to pursue sustainable lifestyles. We’ve had presentations from multiple sustainability businesses, mostly those offering alternatives to plastic. Still, the most remarkable one was from an HVAC business where they featured the electric heat pump as the future of sustainable heating and cooling. I already knew that coal was not good for the planet, but I hadn’t thought about it beyond drilling and vehicle use. The cooling technician team from the local service provider shared details about how going electric with cooling equipment was similar to the innovative move toward electric cars. I was fascinated by it all. Luckily, I found a cooling specialist ready to answer all my questions after their presentation. I learned how the electric HVAC installation not only saves the planet but also helps with energy savings while ensuring the entire house gets adequate climate control. I was sold, but I still live in a rental, and there is no way I could afford the electric cooling technology, let alone convince my landlady to change what we had because it functioned flawlessly. However, I decided that I was going to start sharing it with anyone I knew who needed help with indoor comfort, starting with my aunt, who had taken me along when she’d gone window shopping for HVAC equipment at the cooling corporation. We hadn’t seen the heat pumps then, so I figured visiting the HVAC contractor business with her would convince her it was a perfect idea. Based on their presentation, I am sure she will get quality AC service from them.
