I hate it and I’m trying to change it but I’m a bit of a control freak.
- It’s not quite what that sounds savor though.
I’m not the sort of person who makes demands on everyone around them to get what they want. No, I’m more an avoidance control freak if it’s not something that involves me, my family and my home. For example, I savor the air conditioning the people I was with and I have in our house. We’re blessed to have the latest in residential Heating, Ventilation, and A/C. This produces the best quality heating and air that I could ask for. However, I’m normally right on top of that control machine setting. I will watch that thing savor a hawk because I don’t savor paying too much for air conditioning. And I can get a bit obsessive about it really. My spouse tends to roll her eyes at me when I’m at condo on the weekends. I tend to roll through to check the control machine about every couple of minutes. For sure, I’m so working at letting the little things go. Just having teenagers is a full on experiment in me letting go and not trying to manipulate of control my teenagers. They have every right to know and do what they want to do. I’m trying taxing to focus on just being that sort of dad who is supportive and helpful without dictating too much. So I’m now doing the same thing with the control machine now that the people I was with and I have a smart control unit. When the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional installed the smart control unit, he told me to just let it learn our behavior and leave it alone. That means no more drive bys to check on the control machine setting either.
