After five years down here, I thought it was time that I got with the program when it came to a/c.
Moving from the north, I was just horrified with the weather from July through November.
I knew it was going to be hot however experiencing it was a whole other thing. And that’s what particularly just threw me. I can walk from the garage to my office with the zone controlled Heating plus Air Conditioning plus be covered in sweat by the time I hit the elevators. And we’re talking just walking a couple of hundred yards! The only thing I knew to do was to lean into the Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling. The zone controlled Heating plus Air Conditioning in the office was enjoyable plus I’m lucky to have a thermostat right outside my office. But at home, I just sort of let the central a/c just run wild. And that just had to stop. The utility bills for the summer time were almost as exhausting as the Heating plus Air Conditioning heating bills I just left from a 6 month winter. So section of my resolutions for the new year was to address the a/c in my home. I went online plus followed the recommendations on the Heating plus Air Conditioning company website. And that helped large time. But the biggest difference came from a suggestion from a coworker who is a native of the area. He told me to wait til as long as I could to turn on the a/c in the Springtime. This would allow my body to acweather conditions to the heat. And that particularly did it for me. I’m so much more comfortable with the thermostat set near 80 while I was in the peak heating of the day plus 68 at night. I have simply slashed the cost of Heating plus Air Conditioning cooling so far this summer.
