It was a difficult day yesterday.
I neglected to make an appointment with the HVAC company and had to rush from work to my house. The heating and air conditioning technician called to ask where I was, and I answered the phone. I’m shocked to realize how much I forgot about the appointment I scheduled. I needed the HVAC technician to check my home’s HVAC system to make sure it is ready for the impending winter because it is almost winter. I was going to reschedule the appointment, but my anxiety was telling me that I needed to be at home taking care of some urgent matters. I then hurried home after leaving work. I had a commute of about 15 minutes, but I’m confident I can reduce it to 10. In my haste to get there, I cut off vehicles, rolled through one red light unintentionally, and did other things. I was fortunate, but that was also a little frightening. I would have been in a car accident had it been rush hour traffic, but it was otherwise. A neighbor pulled out of their driveway as I was almost home and slammed into my car. I was still traveling a little too quickly on my road. I slammed into a tree five houses away from my home after spinning out of control. Just as I was about to fall asleep, the HVAC technician came running toward me as I started to lose consciousness. The HVAC technician saved my life, according to the doctor, and a few hours later I woke up in the hospital with a concussion. If he hadn’t been there, I suppose I would not have survived my head injury. To thank the HVAC technician, I can’t wait to leave this hospital.
