The last year and a half has not been easy on numerous of us financially. I didn’t lose our task at the beginning of the pandemic, but our minutes and our overall salary decreased and I had to labor a part-time task to pay all of our bills on time. Even though I have gotten numerous of these minutes back in the last year and a half, our rent increased, our credit has tanked, and I’m finding that all goods and services are skyrocketing in price. This is due to a whole list of factors that are unluckyly having a setback synergistic effect. It’s not going to get any easier as the year moves forward. I have taxes on our condo to pay and the weather outside is going to get colder in a few weeks. I haven’t used our oil furnace since March, but I’ll truly have it running again before I know it. This constantly results in large utility bills until the Spring thaw. As a result, I am often living paycheck to paycheck every Winter with these heating bills. I decided to get control of our Winter heating expenses by getting a modern furnace altogether. After looking at the various chances in our budget range, I chose a heat pump. They efficiently harvest ambient heat in outdoor air, even when it’s “cold” outside. Thankfully the heat pump exceeded our expectations and I’m finally out of living paycheck to paycheck for the whole Winter heating season. I care about the heat pump’s performance as well compared to a official oil furnace.
