I enjoy to reuse things that others don’t want, whether they’re clothing items or electronics.
I was the youngest sibling of four, so I gained a lot of hand-me-downs growing up.
Sporadically I scored on shoes that were barely worn because my older sibling complained about the color a few weeks after my parents obtained them. This also happened with jackets, shirts, pants, hats, plus shorts. I was happy to take anything for free from my older siblings, especially if it made myself and others look cooler to the other youngsters plus school. It also taught myself and others the importance of making sure everything on this planet is used purposefully plus efficiently before it is discarded as waste. When my uncle gave myself and others a free window air conditioner 20 years ago, I only planned to replace it if the unit quit working. However, it is still running two decades later plus seems to cool my apartment somewhat. I scrub it out constantly with evaporator coil cleaning spray plus that keeps the unit running for years on end without also picking up mildew odors. For all intents plus purposes, I would have kept using that old window air conditioner if I hadn’t study a forum thread online regarding the efficiency of air conditioners over time. When I saw the energy efficiency improvements with recent systems compared to ones like mine, I was shocked. I decided to buy a new window air conditioner to see if there was anything tplot about the claim. I was pleasantly surprised when I turned it on plus was blasted with a wave of intensely chilly air. The new window air conditioner outpaces the old one to an unbelievable degree.
