Need to cut sugar out of my life

Everyone has something they are addicted to.

There are people who get hooked on drugs, drinking, cigarettes, all sorts of vices.

What is mine? Sugar is the enemy for me. Everyday I need something with sugar in it. I really like to crush oreos and put them in my yogurt. For lunch I eat carrots and humus, but I love to have some dark chocolate on the side. Throughout the day if I am hungry, I eat an apple. Then I start eating sour worms once my apple is gone. I eat a healthy dinner of salmon and broccoli, but end the night with an ice cream bar. I am in good physical shape. I do a group fitness class four days a week. I do a mix up of cardio and weightlifting. My body is toned, strong and I have great stamina. My issue is just around three pounds of belly fat. I can’t seem to cut it. I know that those three pounds are all sugar that I consume on a day to day basis. I can’t seem to stop my bad habit. I talked to the certified fitness expert with my group fitness class and he told me that I should try nutritional counseling. He says they put together a meal plan for you and make you stick to it. It helps to keep you on track and lose weight. I know I eat good, it is just the sugar. The personal trainer assured me that they would come up with snacks that tricked me into thinking I am eating sugar. I could try sugar free substitutes or a sweet tea rather than an ice cream bar. I am willing to try anything.
