This was our fourth winter time up here plus I have to say, it was easily better. But after the first year with the gas oil furnace running all the time plus the shocking cold, I was dreading this winter. I think when I chose to take this job, I didn’t factor in the weather difference as much as I should have. Actually, I was more concerned about finding the stuff a southerner eats more than the winter. I figured that I’d deal with a couple of months of cold plus then adore a Summer that required much less cooling. That’s not at all how it turned out in the end. Instead, I found myself utterly stunned by the depth of cold plus how long it lasted. The winter time up here is easily relentless plus I almost bailed out for the heat pumps in our condo region. But I made it to Spring, got our feet firmly planted in our current job plus fell in adore with the people here. I’m just so incredibly fond of our current community. And a single of our neighbors helped myself and others winterize the condo this past fall. I knew absolutely nothing about all that plus this kind guy showed myself and others the ropes when it came to sealing up the house. Not only was I way warmer inside our cozy condo this winter time but the heating costs have been slashed significantly. With current storm doors, weather stripping, added insulation plus sealing gaps on the exterior, our condo was sealed up tight. I’m for sure thankful I didn’t deliver up plus go back to the south because I may just get this winter time thing figured out.
