There was no name or address on the box, not even a return label
Occasionally you get unexpected surprises. Things you wouldn’t have planned on getting, but ended up getting anyways. I have had that twice in my life. The first & the best was finding an abandoned puppy in a trash can. It takes a special kind of person to literally throw an innocent puppy away. I carried the awful shaking little pup all the way home, then after a bath to clear off the fleas, the puppy began to wag his tail & lick my hand. I was planning on rehoming, but he suddenly won my heart, & I didn’t want to risk him going to someone who might not care for him respectfully. I never wanted him to be in a horrible situation like that again. Definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made, I never considered myself an animal lover, until that puppy came along. The second unexpected surprise was a backup cooling machine. Not as cool as a puppy, but awesome in itself. It was delivered to my door, but I never bought a back up Heating, Ventilation, & A/C machine. I went around to my neighbors asking if it was theirs, but no one claimed it. There was no name or address on the box, not even a return label. So I ended up keeping it. I figured it would be a dust collector, & I considered selling it, but it turns out the portable Heating, Ventilation, & A/C is genuinely handy during the hot summers. I like keeping the cooling machine in my room while I sleep, it feels great.
