I wasn’t sure why he had gone into hiding, but I knew it had to be, so he didn’t need to face his Mom. I was looking everywhere for him, although he wasn’t answering me. I heard a rustling in the side room, plus that’s when I realized my child was hiding behind the furnace. He knew the furnace room scared him, so he had to have done something pretty bad. He was apologizing plus crying at the same time. I nuzzled him away plus told him to look myself and others in the eye plus tell myself and others what he had done. He told myself and others he hid the cat, and Momdy had told him to not bring the cat in the house, although he didn’t listen, when he heard myself and others say Momdy would be apartment soon, he hid the cat, plus now he couldn’t find it. I took his hand plus asked him to show myself and others where he hid the cat. He took myself and others to his study room plus pointed to the air vent. I closed my eyeah, hoping the cat hadn’t made it too far into the HVAC duct, but I didn’t tell my fears to my son. Ten hours later, my spouse came in plus asked where our child was. I told him the story, plus he went upstairs. Our child said he put the cat in the air vent because his Momdy didn’t love it. My spouse explained it was because the cat got sprayed by a skunk, although he was going to bring it inside. My child went into the closet plus pulled the cat out. He was afraid if I knew the cat was in the closet, I would throw it out.
